The Doable Life | Happiness is a Choice You Make

There is a saying ‘Life is not by chance but by choice’. If you are not a happy person, that is a choice you are making, which in return defines the state you are in. You have full control over your life and the decisions that you make. There are many factors which people measure happiness. Some people think money is happiness. There are also proven facts that the money rich people no doubt are absolutely miserable with what they do on a daily basis to make their money.

Take a moment to look at the people around you, who have everything there is that you long for or dream to have. Whether it is wealth, possessions, status, career and so forth – STOP! These things don’t create happiness. Remember, happiness is a choice.

The wealthy and high status people of today continue to live miserable lives. Lonely, alcoholic, violence, broken marriages, and the list goes on. Happiness comes from within. These people may be working jobs they absolutely hate but just have a knack for making money. You might even want to call it ‘by chance’.

The Doable Life | Take Action

There are many successful people out there who are living their lives exactly the way they want to. They are working hard doing what they absolutely love to do. The most successful people are those who work toward the things they love and or are passionate about. There are many reasons for this. The more you love what you do, the harder you are going to work at it because you will be enjoying your work.

If you feel like you are bored with your life or not doing what you should be doing with it, then it is time to make a change. There may be obstacles or fears holding you back from accomplishing the goals you have set forth in your life. It is time to bypass the obstacles and make your dreams happen. The good news is there is no key to success. It is un-locked.

Many people aren’t quite sure what their true passion is. They want to work toward being successful as they see many other people do, but they just aren’t sure what it is that they can do. Finding your passion is possible, and it will take some deep searching within yourself. Your passion may be right in front of you and you don’t even realize it.

Every passion has the capability of making money. It is just seeing the direction you need to take to make it happen. Take Action – Don’t sit around giving your back to your passion. Can you survive financially on your passion? Yes you can, It is doable.

Sky is the Limit

SKY is the LIMIT. Surely there has to be a way of getting there. I read a book by Brian Tracy, where he was talking about the copy and paste formula. “You only need to study the paths of successful people, and apply them on yourself”.

I later on began to see Brian’s perception, from a whole new perspective. The copy paste formula is a powerful tool for personal development motion, leading to success at its fullest. A readily available easy to apply formula, Success = Study + Copy + Paste

How does that work? Take a photo file in your computer for instance. Copy and paste into the same folder. What do you get? The same photo, same file name with ‘copy’ attached to the end of the file name by default. Rename the copy file to what you want to call it. You now have the same photo under a new file name. In other words, you now have two like features under two separate file names. Easy, you can have like features under different identities.

Even one of the greatest minds of all time had a formula for success.

If A equals success, then the formula is A = X + Y + Z, with X being work, Y play and Z keeping your mouth shut

-Albert Einstein-

What are you waiting for? Get started, the time is NOW or NEVER. Oh yes, time is a factor hence, you need to be persistent. IT IS DOABLE.

Decision Making – An Ethical Input

Decision making is central to the survival of any organization. The forthcoming results of organizations or firms are dependent on the decisions made by its owners, or people who have been entrusted to do so.

In everyday life, in the same manner, we as individuals make decisions, challenged by circumstances and surroundings around us. People often make very good decisions in the organizations they serve, and sadly fail to do likewise at the individual level.

Why make decisions? Why not just GO or DO IT?

To have an interest in, involvement with, dependence on, contribution to, effect or be affected by, surely there must be a potential reason or need.

A simple rule – Visualize the end results.

Having a clear conscience on what you want or need, gives you the aptitude to conquer on auto-pilot. By visualizing the end results of our wants or needs, we attract into our lives the right attitude which in return, gives us the right piece of mind as to where – when – how and why we do things. It is DO-ABLE, we can make the right choices and decisions.

Defining Your Vision and Purpose

Vision relates to the faculty or state of being able to see. Purpose on the other hand, transmits the reason for which something is done or created or for which something exists.

Life is good. Unique in so many awesome ways, we are where we are today, because of what makes us who we are. How does that work? Knowledge and skills are essential elements of the ‘what makes us, who we are’ concept.

We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act, but a habit. –Aristotle-

Life can be seen through ones experiences, beliefs and perceptions. We are what we repeatedly do, think and talk about. Consciousness, perception, thinking, learning, reasoning and judgement become habitual, only when we unleash the power of the mind to function in alliance with our vision and purpose.

Everything exists as result of the conditions and forces that existed before it.  Once you are clear about your purpose, it is much easier to fulfill it and live a more meaningful life. Define your vision, goals and areas of responsibility so that your plans and daily actions are kept aligned with your dominant patterns of thinking.
